NOME, AK (July 24, 2007) – Following are additional photos taken during the erection of two replacement towers for KICY radio in Alaska.

Tower top Bob Meier and Mick Rooney work to move the jin pole up to the next level for the next tower section. By later that evening, the center tower was up, welded, had the paint touched up and the lights all functioning!

The East Tower rests comfortably on its new piling base. This replaces the tilting concrete piers, which were removed earlier this summer. Tower base
