ROLLING HILLS ESTATES, CA (July 2, 2007) – Rolling Hills Covenant Church honored members of the military as well as other public servants and their families during three worship services over the weekend.

“Freedom – A Musical Salute to Liberty” was presented during the Saturday evening and two Sunday morning services. The musical combined narration, original music, and traditional patriotic songs.

Military personnel, law-enforcement officers, medical workers, and firefighters were invited to attend in uniform. A Marine Corps Color Guard from Camp Pendleton presented the colors during the service and served as greeters. Pastor Andy Noch preached a sermon entitled “God’s 911 Call for America.”

Contributions at the end of each service were given directly to the Navigators ministry, which works with military chaplains at Camp Pendleton to provide books, conferences, marriage retreats, and welcome home celebrations.
