The sheet is updated by Covenant Communications about one to two hours before the conclusion of the Annual Meeting, which
allows time for duplicating it for distribution to delegates to take with them. “When important decisions come late in that meeting – sometimes minutes before adjournment – it is impossible to include those actions in time to print and distribute the handout,” notes Don Meyer, executive minister of Covenant Communications.
Churches interested in obtaining photographs from the meeting to incorporate into their presentations should email Covenant Communications. Meyer also notes that copies of the video presentations on compassion and justice themes are available for viewing online. They also will be placed on a special DVD for distribution to local churches in the near future.
Another new feature in this year’s news coverage are video clips of key presentations, including the president’s report, the Lambert and Anderson award recipients, and recognition of individuals, including Bob and Janet Thornbloom. That material will be found in the Annual Meeting link on the home page of the Covenant website, along with the dozens of news stories and photographs published throughout each day of the Annual Meeting.
