Their flight touched down at O’Hare International Airport around 2:05 p.m., a Covenant World Mission staff member advises.
Thorpe, a retired Evangelical Covenant Church medical missionary who served in Congo years ago, and Peterson, executive minister of the Department of World Mission, had been in Kinshasa for an all-pastors meeting in partnership with the Covenant church of Congo.
