CHICAGO, IL (May 4, 2006) – Dan Tepke, North Park University senior vice president, is resting following successful surgery Monday to replace a heart valve, says Charlene Sandberg, administrative assistant to the president. He remains hospitalized at Swedish Covenant Hospital.
Sandberg noted that following his surgery, Tepke left a voice mail at the office saying, “I am alive and kicking, and I will call you back later.”
Tepke is one of three people who have helped manage daily business activities at the university during the school’s presidential search, which concluded recently with the nomination of a candidate for presentation at the Evangelical Covenant Church annual meeting in June.
