FORT WORTH, TX (February 24, 2006) – More than 500 people attended the February 12 launch of the newest satellite congregation of Life Covenant Church, with central offices in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Members of what previously had been the Church of Cityview contacted Life last year about coming under that church’s umbrella, says Katie Moore, marketing director for Life. “They came to us and it was just an incredible fit.”

Life is one of a growing number of congregations that operate under the “one church, many locations” model. Each church campus has its own pastor and worship band, but pastor Craig Groeschel’s message is broadcast via satellite.

The Fort Worth core group of about 100 people began meeting every week last November and has continued to grow. “It’s been just amazing to watch God work,” Katie says.

The congregation meets at the Fort Worth Academy and has worship experiences at 10 and 11:30 a.m. It is the seventh Life church campus.
