Visitation for family and friends will be observed at the Alt & Shawmut Hills Chapel of the Lifestory Funeral Homes from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, and again from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday.
Anderson is a former chair of the Great Lakes Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church and is credited with laying the groundwork for church planting across the region. Last year, he was the first recipient of a conference award named in his honor, to be given to people who advance the cause of church planting.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; three children, Jeff Anderson, Brian Anderson and Julie Anderson; three sisters, Janice Kempe, Rhoda Larson and Sharon Oudman; as well as many nieces and nephews.
