CHICAGO, IL (November 28, 2005) – Longtime Evangelical Covenant Church pastor LeRoy Carlson will be the featured guest on Prime Time America tomorrow (Tuesday) to discuss the organization he is helping to form that seeks to locate and preserve many of the works of artist Warner Sallman.
The show will be broadcast from 4 to 5:30 p.m. CST on the Moody Broadcasting Network. Streaming and archived audio also can be heard at www.primetimeamerica.org.
Sallman was a member of the Covenant denomination. Of all his work, the painting “Head of Christ” is perhaps the best known – famous around the world. He often would recreate the painting with various media as he visited Covenant churches.
