For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

We are keeping this young man in prayer these days as the battle is great.  He is only 17 years old and yet, his life has undergone drastic changes since meeting a young woman last year who convinced him to quit school and to disregard his mother who he has had a close relationship with all his life.  After the girlfriend got bored with him and moved on, he connected back with old friends and has gotten into taking cough medicine mixed with soda to get a high.  He recently quit his job and is heading on a dangerous path.

We have met with him and continue to reach out to him.  He tells us he knows God loves him and is taking care of him, but his eyes are blinded to truth and he does not see how desperate his situation is.  We are asking for a miracle and for great wisdom as we keep after this lost one of the Father’s.
