We’re Still Moving!

Covenant Kids Congo is witnessing exciting movement.

We currently have 6,000 children sponsored and 250 churches participating in the US, and are making huge strides in our Ledia project to provide access to clean water and improve the quality of education. Just this year, we have seen nearly 10 Covenant churches hosting a Hope Sunday event and several pastors across the nation casting the vision in their congregations and local communities.

But there are also other ways to support Covenant Kids Congo, as members of Ocean Hills Covenant Church in Santa Barbara, CA, have shown possible.

This Sunday, nearly 40 of them, along with other participants in Team World Vision, will run Sunday’s LA Marathon to raise money for clean water resources in Congo. FOX News reporter, Mike Klan, featured them in their local news, reporting that “each runner is trying to raise over 1,300 dollars or fifty dollars per mile because it takes only fifty dollars for one child in the Congo to have clean water for life.”
