Caminando por el Espíritu (Walking by the Spirit) was the theme of the 4th Annual Women’s Retreat of the South District of the Covenant Church of Mexico. The Holy Spirit’s guidance and presence was evident in each person, activity, and detail. God touched out hearts in the smiles and hugs of our sisters, the service of our brothers and the delicious meals they prepared, the beautiful creation all around us, the testimonies, the games and laughter, the talents shared, the worship and praise in one voice, the preaching and teaching of the Word, the Lord’s Supper, in all things God spoke to us and encouraged us along the journey.

One great joy for me was witnessing the excellent and humble leadership of the women’s group that Patty Restrepo and I have been discipling over the last four years. Their love was evident in all they did! Another great joy was having my dear friends with whom I served together in the Family Development Foundation in Monterrey (Sandra Cazares Gomez, Marisol Martinez, and Lucy Medellin) serve together with me. God is good. He answered all of our prayers and so much more! Thank you for praying and partnering with us!
