CHICAGO, IL (February 23, 2010) – As the Evangelical Covenant Church celebrates 125 years of denominational life, The Covenant Companion is soliciting reflections from people throughout the church on the topic of Covenant identity.

“Through a series of questions, we are exploring not only our collective past, but our current ministry joys and challenges, as well as thoughts about our future,” says Cathy Norman Peterson, features editor.

The next question in the series is: Why are you in the Covenant? How did you get here? What does the Covenant mean to you? “We are eager to hear all kinds of answers, from a variety of perspectives,” Peterson adds. Covenanters are invited to share their stories and anecdotes in 300 words or fewer.

The deadline is March 15. Please email responses to Cathy Norman Peterson or mail them to The Covenant Companion, 5101 N. Francisco Avenue, Chicago, IL, 60625. Please include contact information and what church you attend.
