DENVER, CO (February 1, 2010) – Participants at this year’s Connection event held January 23–25, prior to the Midwinter Conference at the Sheraton Hotel, were inspired to engage the theme, “The Beautiful Struggle.”

Sessions presented opportunities for attendees interested in worship arts, youth ministry, and compassion, mercy, and justice to connect with God and each other. Topics covered ranged from using the Enneagram personality tool to worship technology.

Speakers included Soong-Chan Rah, Milton B. Engebretson Associate Professor of Church Growth and Evangelism at North Park Theological Seminary; Sunil Sardar, the founder of TruthSeekers International; and Kara Powell, executive director of the Fuller Youth Institute and a faculty member at Fuller Theological Seminary. The North Park University worship team provided music for the worship services.

Attendees also made onsite visits to ministries, including those working with the homeless, teen mothers, and addicts.
