In February, we learned about the LR2J team. This month, take some time &amp; get to know the Leader Experience team.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This team exists to support the men and women who make\u00a0CHIC\u00a0happen through their service as counselors, pastors, and volunteer youth leaders, and to partner with parents and churches in the entire\u00a0CHIC\u00a0Experience. They work with the\u00a0CHIC\u00a0Liaisons to build a network of resources and support for all those interested in\u00a0CHIC.<\/p>\n<p>The team is led by Ben Kerns, Pastor of Children and Students at Marin Covenant Church. You can read more about Ben on his blog:<a href=\"http:\/\/averageyouthministry.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">averageyouthministry.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The team includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 19.5px\">Matt Aalseth, Redeemer Covenant Church, Orangevale, CA<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 19.5px\">Traci Coffman, Marin Covenant Church, San Rafael, CA<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 19.5px\">Kyle Thompson, University Covenant Church, Davis CA<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, check out the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/chic2015.org\/for-leaders-only\/\" target=\"_blank\">For Leaders Only<\/a>&#8221; section of the CHIC\u00a02015\u00a0website. You will find contact info for your liaison and all of the materials needed to host a &#8220;Parent Meeting in a Box&#8221;. This meeting resource was created to assist youth workers and volunteers in hosting an informational\u00a0CHIC\u00a0meeting for the parents in their church. In addition to pictures and videos from\u00a0CHIC\u00a02012, it also includes documents detailing how to set up your meeting, frequently asked questions about\u00a0CHIC, fundraising ideas, and a power point to run through. If you are thinking about ways to get\u00a0CHIC\u00a02015\u00a0in front of the parents in your church, this is the perfect resource for you.
