{"id":459,"date":"2012-04-08T21:42:47","date_gmt":"2012-04-09T01:42:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/smith\/?p=459"},"modified":"2012-04-08T21:53:04","modified_gmt":"2012-04-09T01:53:04","slug":"water-tower-woes-and-whoopees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/smith\/?p=459","title":{"rendered":"Water Tower Woes and Whoopees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Special thanks to River Ridge Covenant Church in Olympia, WA for\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 their generous gift that has enabled the construction of a new water\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 tower for the greater Bokonzo neighborhood.\u00a0 AND thanks to Joel\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Birchman, retired engineer, who donated loads of energy and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 expertise to the construction during his 18 days with us in Feb. and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 March.\u00a0 Joel was a real &#8216;trooper&#8217; through the excessive heat and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 humidity as he counseled and encouraged the masons on the project.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Joel&#8217;s <em>mayele<\/em> (wisdom in Lingala) also helped them figure\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 out how to &#8216;shore up&#8217;
