Today marks ONE YEAR since we moved to Germany! We still remember the feeling of seeing our entire lives packed into \u00a05 checked bags and 4 carry-ons. As we think about the events of this past year and look toward the next, we want to share some of our favorite things as well as challenging aspects about living in Hamburg, Germany.<\/p>\n

\nOne challenging thing: how to incorporate aspects of my old life into my new life in Germany<\/p>\n

\nFavorite things: Pretzels, amusement parks and candy
\nOne challenging thing: missing my friends in Chicago<\/p>\n

Charlotte
\nFavorite things: Chocolate gelato, her school friends and the playgrounds
\nOne challenging thing: during the summer, the sun stays up late and I have to go to bed before sunset<\/p>\n

Madeleine
\nFavorite things: Milk, milk and milk
\nOne challenging thing: waiting for my feeding<\/p>\n

We are so grateful to be celebrating this milestone with you and feel so blessed that you have decided to support us with prayer, finances and with love. Thank you for allowing us to work with God’s people in Germany and coming alongside us. We praise God for everything and are excited to see what year two will look like!!<\/p>\n
