CHICAGO, IL (December 24, 2009) – At least 20 volunteers are needed to teach English classes as part of the Taiwan Summer English Program set for July 1-21, 2010.
The Evangelical Covenant Church Department of World Mission operates the program in cooperation with the Taiwan Covenant Church. This is the sixth year for the outreach.

The program builds relationships with children in their communities. For many children, it is their first contact with the church.

Cost to participate is $2,100 (estimated cost from the Midwest, including round-trip airfare and orientation in Taiwan). Housing and food will be provided.
Teachers must be at least college freshmen or older. Previous leadership or teaching experience is helpful.
