It has been two years since we have been able to gather together in our home with this group of friends. Last night 20 people from Fuente de Salvacion Covenant Church came over to share a meal. All of them have participated in the certificate programs over the course of the past year or two. It was in December 2019 that we had our last in-person gathering with them, so it was a joy to be back together.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

People shared the impact that theological education has had in their lives. They shared the transformation they have experience and how formational it has been for them in all areas. Rosa, an immigrant from Venezuela, shared how the studies brought her into deeper relationship with God in a time when she was feeling so broken and lonely having left her home in Venezuela. Through the church her family has found a new community, a new family. She shared how the story of Ruth, the immigrant, impacted her in a very personal way. Others shared how they have had to unlearn to learn new things and the process that has been for them. We ended the evening sharing a meal together and praying for each other.<\/p>\n
