\"\"This past Sunday, youth leaders from the region of Antioquia (where Medellin is located) met online to continue a process that began in February. It was the first time for many of them to reconnect since the pandemic and quarantine began in March. These youth and young adults are part of the youth leadership training program that initiated in 2020 and was paused. Several of these leaders live in more rural areas and connecting virtually was really complicated.<\/p>\n

Thank God this Sunday we were able to connect for 5 hours and continue with the second module of the training program. The theme of this particular module was on our deepening relationship with God and spiritual formation. It was beautiful to hear the ways that these young adults and youth have experienced God’s Spirit and transformation in what has been a really challenging year. There were tears as people shared vulnerably about where they are at. There was celebrating as we listened to stories of God’s faithfulness. There was creative artwork shared and a powerful time of experiencing connection even though we were in different places. Praise God for this group of leaders. Praise God for the privilege of being able to write a resource and seeing how God has used it to help people to go deeper. Praise God for how God is constantly transforming us in love.<\/p>\n
