This past week I, Katie, had the opportunity to participate in a children’s and family ministry connection event. As part of the event I co-lead a peer learning experience with Pastor Colleen Nelson. Our learning experience was based on the spiritual practices and was rooted in Jesus’ invitations throughout Scripture (come and see, come and rest, come and abide, come and follow, come and eat). It was a beautiful experience of letting people connect with God at different prayer stations. So often as people who serve in ministry we are so busy taking care of others that we forget that we need to connect with Jesus.<\/p>\n
