This year, with local churches, one of the questions we’ve been asking is how can we engage children in the worship and life of the church? As I visited the Jireh Covenant church a few Sundays ago I was amazed at how many children are in their congregation. And then they told me that on their week night meetings they have over 60 children who come. This particular Sunday some of the young girls were singing with the worship team. And later in the Sunday school hour I was encouraged to hear children sharing their testimonies with other children. Praise God for individuals and churches who take seriously Jesus’ call to let the little children come to him. Pray for these churches who are discipling children, many times with very few volunteers and very few material resources. Consider partnering with the churches in Colombia this summer, through the VBS project that is being provided by Covenant World Mission.
