{"id":94,"date":"2012-02-06T04:37:05","date_gmt":"2012-02-06T08:37:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/groot\/?p=94"},"modified":"2012-02-06T04:37:05","modified_gmt":"2012-02-06T08:37:05","slug":"pay-it-forward","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/groot\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"Pay it Forward"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Pay it Forward<\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0creditor offers the debtor the option of &#8220;paying&#8221; the debt\u00a0<em>forward<\/em> by lending it to a <\/span><a title=\"Third party beneficiary\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Third_party_beneficiary\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">third person<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"> instead of paying it\u00a0<em>back<\/em> to the original creditor. Debt and payments can be monetary or by good deeds.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">Just wondering about the scriptural significance of this thought&#8230; I know we can not pay anything back to our God who risked all and gave all on our behalf.\u00a0 There is no good we can do on this earth to pay for our pardon, our salvation or our deliverance that comes through Jesus Christ.\u00a0 BUT, the love that flows from God to our hearts, quenching our fears and anxieties, comforting us when life seems so forlorn and complicated and and overflowing with a power that is truly not from us&#8230;.how do we respond to such a love?\u00a0 We can not ever pay it back, but can we &#8220;pay it forward?\u00a0 Can our lives reflect that which we have been given so that others can enter into the same love relationship with our Father? <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\">We just received the following YouTube story and it was a beautiful picture of how someone &#8220;paying their faith forward&#8221; touched lives that went far beyond themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=W2qBkJ0umwA\">http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=W2qBkJ0umwA<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-report-this\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/groot?moderation_action=report_form&object_type=post&object_id=94&width=250&height=300\" class=\"thickbox\" title=\"Report This Post\">Report This Post<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pay it Forward&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0creditor offers the debtor the option of &#8220;paying&#8221; the debt\u00a0forward by lending it to a third person instead of paying it\u00a0back to the original creditor.
