{"id":610,"date":"2010-05-08T15:03:48","date_gmt":"2010-05-08T20:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/?p=610"},"modified":"2010-05-08T15:03:48","modified_gmt":"2010-05-08T20:03:48","slug":"living-in-two-worlds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ekstrand\/2010\/05\/living-in-two-worlds\/","title":{"rendered":"Living in Two Worlds"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"_mcePaste\">Do you ever feel like you live in two worlds? \u00a0We did while we were in Kinshasa. \u00a0Two weeks ago today, we were invited out to Rod and Valerie Hochstetler&#8217;s home for the afternoon. \u00a0Rod and Pete went to a weekly pick-up softball game at The American School Of Kinshasa (TASOK) while Cindy stayed with Valerie as she made pizzas for the evening with the MAF crew. \u00a0Softball was GREAT even though Pete hadn&#8217;t played in a couple years. \u00a0His team lost 23-22. \u00a0After the game, they went back to Hochstetlers for the weekly Sat night pizza and a movie (The Apple Dumpling Gang) with the Kinshasa MAF staff plus kids sleeping over, 17-18 total. \u00a0Great fun! \u00a0It was an afternoon and evening &#8220;out of Congo&#8221; in a way, except for the traffic to and from TASOK.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div id=\"attachment_611\" style=\"width: 261px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2010\/05\/Hunga-Busta-Zondo-Aime.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-611\" class=\"size-full wp-image-611 \" title=\"Hunga Busta- Zondo &amp; Aime\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2010\/05\/Hunga-Busta-Zondo-Aime.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"251\" height=\"202\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-611\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zondo &amp;
