I am struck by the beauty of winter these last days with the heavy hoar frost covering everything. Friday there was frost and overcast skies which looks kind of eery. Saturday it was beautifully sunny and frosty. Interestingly because of the way the temps were, the frost would melt on the lower branches and the top remained coated. Today again it is overcast and you cannot distinguish the horizon–it all blends together. My challenge is–how do you take a picture to come close to the beauty of these scenes?
