{"id":3902,"date":"2015-04-08T00:05:13","date_gmt":"2015-04-08T04:05:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=3902"},"modified":"2015-04-08T00:05:13","modified_gmt":"2015-04-08T04:05:13","slug":"such-a-simple-thing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/?p=3902","title":{"rendered":"Such a Simple Thing&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/04\/Hydrocortisone-pic.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3903\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2015\/04\/Hydrocortisone-pic.jpg\" alt=\"Hydrocortisone pic\" width=\"179\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Such a simple thing&#8230;hydrocortisone cream. \u00a0We use it frequently for a multitude of reasons. \u00a0Who would of thought a simple packet of cortisone cream could open my eyes to God&#8217;s grace and mercy and TIMING! \u00a0To set the stage. \u00a0I had been seeing patients on a Wednesday. \u00a0I saw a young boy and his mother for what seemed like a fairly simple problem. \u00a0However, what would help the boy was hydrocortisone cream. \u00a0I didn&#8217;t have any that I could find in the clinic so I wrote a prescription for them to fill at a local pharmacy. \u00a0When I do this, it is always unclear if patients will be able to fill it or not and I felt bad about this, but there really wasn&#8217;t a whole lot I could do because I didn&#8217;t have the medicine. \u00a0I saw other patients and was basically finished for the day except for unpacking a couple of boxes. \u00a0We had recently received the container and were still going through a lot of the boxes. \u00a0The last box I opened was a box full of Hydrocortisone cream! \u00a0At that same moment, the boy I had previously seen and his mother walked by. \u00a0I was able to give them the medication the boy needed. \u00a0Is it a simple thing? \u00a0Of course. \u00a0I may have dismissed it because it was so simple, but to see how God even worked out something SO small in such a simple way was ONLY His hand at work. \u00a0So, as simple as it was, it was a reminder how God works together the small things. \u00a0I&#8217;m thankful for the simple things!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-report-this\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp?moderation_action=report_form&object_type=post&object_id=3902&width=250&height=300\" class=\"thickbox\" title=\"Report This Post\">Report This Post<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;
