2011 in Quito"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had an awesome time\u00a0yesterday\u00a0celebrating Thanksgiving 2011 with our friends in Quito. \u00a0Yes, we celebrated Thanksgiving a week late because we were traveling last week to Santa Rosa but that didn&#8217;t make it any less important and most of the people that were invited, Ecuadorians, didn&#8217;t know any difference anyways because they don&#8217;t have that holiday here in Ecuador. \u00a0This was our second year in a row of celebrating Thanksgiving here by inviting the IPEE office support staff to our apartment to share with them in a little bit of our culture from the U.S. \u00a0In the end, there was a lot of good food, so no one could possibly complain.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1445\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2011\/12\/Kim.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1445\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1445\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2011\/12\/Kim-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"168\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2011\/12\/Kim-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/delp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2011\/12\/Kim.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1445\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kim worked tirelessly for two days preparing for the big meal, but it was
