Our 13 year old granddaughter, Maddie, came to us just before lockdown, in mid-March.\u00a0 We have stayed pretty much at home, except for walks on the beach and grocery shopping at the mall.\u00a0 Just this last week, as lockdown rules have lessened, we went to a couple of privately owned game preserves where Maddie could see wild animals roaming.\u00a0 We are so thankful that she came, our giggly, helpful, lovely granddaughter.\u00a0 Please pray that we will get her back, safe and sound to Indiana in time for quarantine before a special family reunion.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
