We had a couple of good meetings this past week, with me sharing about David & Goliath, and Nadege sharing about a recent trip she made to northern Cameroon to learn about co-operatives that are working really well. The women were responsive to the idea that we all face Goliaths in our lives, and that God’s strength and presence in our lives is what helps us win the battles. Nadege’s trip was an amazing lesson about how 5 women grouped together 10 years ago and have grown to 40 groups of women, working together, helping each other to achieve life goals and settle urgent needs such as putting their daughters through school and just feeding and clothing their families. Please pray for our friends here, that they can catch the vision that many hands make light work, and that the Lord is standing by, waiting for us to cry to Him for help and life.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
