Today our Back 2 Eden crew visited 8 preschools that serve low-income families. Roy and Zweli had held a seminar for these preschool teachers and staff earlier this week, helping them to understand how the Lord provides and exactly how to raise a variety of nutritious foods for the children and their families.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a> Today they planted 10 fruit trees at each school, with the help of the staff.\u00a0 We’re looking forward to just a couple of years from now when there actually might already be fruit on some of the trees, like jakfruit.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This nursery school already has a bit of a veggie garden, there in front of the kids.\u00a0 Interesting placement, seeing as there are graves just beyond the rows of spinach and carrots.\u00a0 Please pray for these teachers and the kids, that there would be fruit born out of this project.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
