First glance at this hen made me laugh out loud, all these feet under one body!!!\u00a0 Then I got to thinking about how God specially designed hens for this position, to hover over their chicks, protecting them without squishing them, letting them roam but calling them to her at the first sign of danger.\u00a0 You should have seen this hen move into action when a goat wandered into this farm stall\/shop to eat some of the corn on the floor!\u00a0 You know the term madder than a wet hen?\u00a0 Yep, she wasn’t wet but she was fierce!\u00a0 She wanted to keep her chicks safe and that goat being 7 times her size didn’t phase her.\u00a0 God wants to gather all his chicks under his protective wings, but we wandering ones have to be willing to seek that shelter; if one of those little pairs of feet was out and about underfoot, it easily could’ve been trampled by the goat’s sharp hooves.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
