You never know what you’re going to see! \u00a0Sometimes it’s tragedy that makes you offer prayers for possible injured people\"blog<\/a> Sometimes it’s a big surprise – this was my first horse sighting in this area!\"blog<\/a>Sometimes it’s a good sign, like this cattle market and the smiles on the faces of friends from our town, giving me the hope that they’re going to survive this troubled time<\/p>\n

Sometimes it’s the ordinary here but bizarre to western thinking, like this roadside butcher shop with the cow’s head on beautiful display for quick sale!<\/p>\n

Sometimes it’s just seeing everyday life that doesn’t bow to the modern world – the cattle take precedence over the motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

\"blog<\/a>I thank the Lord for this place he has put us in, for the people He has given us to be friends with, for the amazing gifts of creation and surprise. \u00a0God is good, all the time!<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them.
