Recently, the MAEM Coordinating Committee, committed to ending sexual exploitation in Mexico, met with South American missionaries and pastors, and North Park Theological Seminary students to learn and discuss the problems that face communities in regards to human trafficking. There was space to learn and share experiences with each other and better understand the problem of human trafficking and the solutions. These partnerships across cultures and countries are crucial to the work of Christ. CWR values partnership and the importance of believing in the dignity of all people. I think these two values are expressed so clearly in this partnership. Although we all come from different places with vast and varied backgrounds, we are one in Christ and to seek out justice for all people, we must meet, we must ask questions, we must learn, and we must listen.

Continue to pray for those in Mexico who are tirelessly working to advocate against and educate the community on the dangers of human trafficking.
