Wiesbrock, a member of Hinsdale Covenant Church in Hinsdale, Illinois, with more than 25 years of experience in trust and estate planning administration, will assume her new responsibilities no later than November 1.
A Certified Financial Planner, Wiesbrock currently serves as vice president and trust officer of Wayne Hummer Trust Company in Hinsdale, where she has worked since 1999. Previously, she served as a trust and estate consultant in Roselle Park, New Jersey; as a trust officer with a firm in Summit, New Jersey; and as a personal trust associate administrator with Northern Trust Company in Chicago.
She is no stranger to Covenant Trust Company, having served as a trust accountant for three years in the eighties, developing and administering the accounting system serving 300 trusts, in addition to monitoring more than 200 brokerage accounts.
A magna cum laude graduate of North Park University, she earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies degree from Rutgers University and her financial planning certification from Northwestern University in Chicago.
Wiesbrock serves on the Covenant Ministries of Benevolence (CMB) board as a member of the Finance Committee and chair of the Audit Committee, as chair of the Management Advisory Committee of Windsor Park Manor in Carol Stream, Illinois, and as a member of the DuPage County Estate Planning Council.
“Her recommendation is based on a number of factors,” says David Dwight, CMB president who led the search process, “especially her passion for the Evangelical Covenant Church and Covenant Trust Company and ensuring that our mission guides all that we do.”
Other factors influencing her selection include a vision for the trust services industry and how this impacts Covenant Trust Company, her depth of operational knowledge both in profit and not-for-profit organizations, a fresh perspective and outside expertise that can bring new ideas and creative thinking to the operations, the ability to engage and communicate effectively to multiple constituencies, and an innovative approach in identifying ways to grow Covenant Trust Company to meet the needs and desires of new customers.
“I am excited to be able to work with the excellent group at Covenant Trust Company,” Wiesbrock said this afternoon. “As we begin the next chapter in the work of CTC, we will build on the solid foundation of Christian service and stewardship, focusing, as always, on furthering the ministries of the church.”
“We rejoice in God’s provision of capable and godly leaders like Ann,” says Evangelical Covenant Church President Gary Walter of Wiesbrock’s selection.
“She is an engaging person and communicates well,” adds Dwight. She is very passionate about her faith and is very involved in her church. She will provide a nice transition.”
