19 was the big celebration!\u00a0 God&#8217;s faithfulness was the theme of the day as we heard from the Director of Wycliffe&#8217;s Cameroon Branch, the Director of RFIS, and worshipped together in of gratitude to those who contributed to the school&#8217;s new location.\u00a0 The American embassy provided the wall surrounding the campus.\u00a0 Covenant and Free Church and Baptist\u00a0missions were recognized for partnership in RFIS.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_892\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-892\" style=\"width: 334px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a congratulatory\u00a0speech.\u00a0 His suit was really impressive, made of black crushed velvet with a sash at his waist in the colors of the Cameroon flag.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_891\" the cutting of the ribbon at the library and classroom building across the campus from the auditorium.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_893\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-893\" style=\"width: id=\"caption-attachment-893\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tour of campus - including the Prayer Chapel &amp; Garden (top right)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After the ribbon cutting, we all went to the science classroom for the naming ceremony.\u00a0 The science building is named for a former RFIS teacher.\u00a0 Then the dignitaries and invited guests were treated to a tour of the campus, followed by a meal.\u00a0 The rest of us (uninvited non-dignitaries) were treated to quite a spread of snacks and assorted goodies!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was an excellent celebration of God&#8217;s faithfulness in providing good education for the children of missionaries, other expatriates and Cameroonians;\u00a0and in providing resources for the new campus.\u00a0 He continues to prove faithful each year the school, once serving just a handful of students, now serves nearly 100, keeping many missionary families in Central African countries.<\/p>\n<p>For more on the history of RFIS and Covenant World
