The Anderson Family<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

David and DeAnna Anderson arrived in Yaounde, Cameroon this past summer – shortly after we Zs arrived here.\u00a0 They are missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators serving in computer services and education of missionary children.\u00a0 DeAnna and I share the job of teaching the Kindergarten class at the Parent Run School for missionary children, and their younger son is in our class (and is making great\u00a0progress in learning to read).<\/p>\n

As members of an Evangelical Covenant Church in Missouri<\/a>, they qualified to become “Covenanters in Mission.”\u00a0 After a brief application process (all on line) they are officially accepted as\u00a0our first Covenanters in Mission here in Yaounde, Cameroon.\u00a0 Pray for the Anderson family as they adjust to life in Cameroon and to their ministries.\u00a0 For more, click here to\u00a0see their personal web site<\/a>.\u00a0 You’ll also find DeAnna’s excellent recipe collection!<\/p>\n

Do you know missionaries\u00a0who are members of a Covenant Church and are\u00a0serving with an organization other than Covenant World Mission?\u00a0\u00a0Covenant World Mission would like to recognize and affirm their call to international\u00a0ministry.\u00a0 This is also\u00a0a great way for them to connect with the larger Covenant Family for prayer support,\u00a0and with Covenant missionaries in their\u00a0service location for encouragement and moral support.\u00a0 Let them know about this opportunity.\u00a0 The Covenant website describes this role, and has an application form to download and complete.<\/p>\n

A Covenanter in World Mission is a recognized member of a local Covenant church doing mission work internationally with another mission organization for at least one year. The Department of World Mission (DWM) acknowledges and values their work toward building for the kingdom of God. Once identified by the DWM, a Covenanter in World Mission will:<\/span><\/p>\n
