Move the PE container up to the soccer field. It houses soccer equipment anyway, and will need to be moved from its present location soon anyhow.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3452\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3452\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?attachment_id=3452\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3452\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3452\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2b-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"396\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2b-2.jpg 606w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2b-2-300x238.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3452\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">While waiting for the crane operator to get everything ready, a few of the workers decided it was a good time to snack on fruit from one of many fruit trees on campus.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The crane got into position, attached a chain to the container, and began its work hoisting the container onto its truck bed.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?attachment_id=3453\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3453\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3453\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2.jpg 640w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-2-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It took a bit of work to slide it out from under the roof of the construction shed. And then with help from a few guys turning it in mid air, the container was set down on the truck ready for transport a few hundred yards away to the soccer field.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?attachment_id=3454\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3454\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3454\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"487\" height=\"366\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-3.jpg 640w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-3-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 487px) 100vw, 487px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, as the crane operator was securing the crane for transport, suddenly there was a pop and spray of liquid coming from a hose on the crane. Oops. That was bad. I was sure they&#8217;d all go home and finish the job the next day, but they insisted on fixing the problem and completing the job before days end, even if it meant working in the dark&#8230; which happens around 6 to 6:30 pm here.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3455\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3455\" style=\"width: 485px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?attachment_id=3455\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3455\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3455\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"485\" height=\"364\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-4.jpg 640w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-4-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3455\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Repair work on the crane<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ron, I&#8217;d said, &#8220;The container is the back wall of the construction shed. What are you going to do about that?&#8221; Not news to him, of course, he replied, &#8220;Oh, we&#8217;ll have to build a new wall.&#8221; I was amazed at how quickly, before the container had even been put on the truck, guys started appearing with sheets of plywood that seemed to come from nowhere (at least I hadn&#8217;t noticed it anywhere before), and nailed them to the gaping hole left in the shed.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_3456\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-3456\" style=\"width: 509px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?attachment_id=3456\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3456\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3456\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"509\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-5.jpg 640w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2018\/01\/2018-01-Move-PE-ctr-5-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 509px) 100vw, 509px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-3456\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Plywood wall replaces the side of the container as back wall to the construction shed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>By this time everyone had left (except Worship Team who was having a retreat that night in the auditorium and were having supper). So I decided to call it quits and go home. Ron went back later to oversee the offloading of the container in its new location on the soccer field. And again, we&#8217;re so thankful to God for protection from injuries while moving huge heavy things.
