{"id":283,"date":"2010-07-12T11:39:52","date_gmt":"2010-07-12T16:39:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?p=283"},"modified":"2010-07-12T11:39:52","modified_gmt":"2010-07-12T16:39:52","slug":"zs-are-in-cameroon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?p=283","title":{"rendered":"Zs are in Cameroon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2010\/07\/P7090489.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We Zs have escaped the 90 degree heat of West Michigan and are enjoying cooler temps in Cameroon, Africa!\u00a0 Our flight out of Grand Rapids was delayed 2 hours, yet miraculously we and all our luggage made all the connections &#8211; GR to Chicago to Brussels to Yaounde, Praise God!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now we&#8217;re setting up in our &#8220;new&#8221; house, rented by Covenant World Mission.\u00a0 It is close to a major road, so the sounds at night are honking taxi cabs and barking dogs.\u00a0 We have purchased many household and furniture items from Pete &amp; Cindy Ekstrand, Covenant missionaries now living in Congo.\u00a0 They used to live in this house, so it&#8217;s good to have things that belong here.\u00a0 I&#8217;m going through boxes and trunks discovering all the things we bought, and some unexpected surprises too (nice surprises).<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s good to be here, will be better when we settle into a routine.\u00a0 Thanks for praying us to this point.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_284\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-284\" style=\"width: 291px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2010\/07\/P7080456.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-284\" title=\"P7080456\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/42\/2010\/07\/P7080456.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"291\" height=\"213\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-284\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ron &amp;
