Students in Mr. ter Maat’s “Agriculture and Society” class clean up a village fish pond on a recent field trip.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Mr. ter Maat’s class had a field trip recently – combined with a sports tournament and evangelism outreach trip. \u00a0It was a full weekend of community development, learning, service, soccer, and evangelism. \u00a0Students returned tired but blessed.<\/p>\n

The soccer team also went on the trip, to play against teams in and near the village they visited. \u00a0Our team demonstrated humility and good sportsmanship, losing every game they played \ud83d\ude42 . \u00a0Still they had a good time.<\/p>\n

The real purpose of the field trip was evangelism. \u00a0The Drama Evangelism Team went and performed before the tournament finals. \u00a0The Spirit of God moved greatly among them and many people chose to follow Christ. \u00a0Others showed interest in knowing more. \u00a0Pray for this village as there is not a strong church there for follow up. \u00a0Through Scripture left in their hands, the Holy Spirit can teach them.<\/p>\n
