Praises for March<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. March 15 David and Debbie Williams flew from Congo to Yaounde safely.\u00a0 They met up with Sharon Davis and have been traveling with her throughout the NW Region of Cameroon visiting ministries Sharon has been involved with in her 2 year term here.<\/li>\n
  2. We are thankful that Baxter Swenson had not yet arrived in Cameroon when he exhibited symptoms of heart problems.\u00a0 Thankfully this happened in the Belgian airport, and our Covenant mission friends were able to meet him and Margie in a local hospital.\u00a0 The Swensons were on their way to Cameroon to visit various ministries and attend our Covenant Africa Fellowship, but ended up spending 10 days in Belgium before returning to Chicago.<\/li>\n
  3. Praise God for protection of missionary and national friends in Central African Republic when the rebel group Seleka took over the country on Palm Sunday.<\/li>\n
  4. Praise God for progress on the duplex construction<\/a>.\u00a0 This month the trusses went up and soon the roof will be complete.\u00a0 Thankfully God has protected the workers \u2013 no injuries yet.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    Prayer Requests for April<\/span><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. April 1-5 all Covenant missionaries in Africa will meet together for Covenant Fellowship at Kribi, Cameroon.\u00a0 Pray for a good time of fellowship and spiritual renewal.<\/li>\n
    2. Pray for the Wycliffe missionaries in Cameroon who will also have their annual retreat and business meetings the first part of April.\u00a0 In the past few months 2 missionaries have died unexpectedly.\u00a0 Pray for a good time of grieving together, spiritual renewal and fellowship.<\/li>\n
    3. Pray for those who have had to leave their homes in Central African Republic due to rebel take over.\u00a0 Pray that the looting will stop and order be restored.\u00a0 Pray for emotional healing for those who were traumatized or shaken by the events of the past few days.<\/li>\n
    4. Pray for continued good progress on the duplex construction.\u00a0 The trusses are up and metal roofing will go on next.\u00a0 Then we can begin to finish at least one side.\u00a0 Pray the funds stretch till at least one side of the duplex is finished.<\/li>\n
    5. Pray for a French family (3 adults, 4 children) who were kidnapped<\/a> in the Far North Region of Cameroon in February.\u00a0 Most recent news from them in March is that they are suffering from heat to which they are not accustomed, health is declining, and their spirits are low.\u00a0 The French family are believers.\u00a0 Pray for their safety and release; and pray that the kidnappers\u2019 hearts will change.\u00a0 Pray that the Lord will fulfill his purpose through this terrifying event.\u00a0 (PS. They are friends of friends, and we are far from their location, and not in any danger ourselves.\u00a0 So pray for them and do not be concerned for us).<\/li>\n
    6. Pray that the Covenant missionaries who are coming to the close of their ministry terms in Africa will finish well, and make good transitions.\u00a0 In April, Sharon Davis is going back to the US after 2 years in Cameroon; Marta Klein is going back to the US after her 2 years in Congo.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
