Really?!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t believe it. \u00a0Shopping in downtown Yaounde the other day, I found a bag of &#8220;Deicing Salt&#8221; on the shelf! \u00a0I know in places far north of here there is plenty of ice and snow and sleet and coldness. \u00a0But here? \u00a0We&#8217;re sweltering in the heat of dry season! \u00a0What on earth?!<\/p>\n<p>Then I turned the bag around and read the back panel &#8212; &#8220;Ice Cream Salt&#8221;. \u00a0Oh. \u00a0That explains it. \u00a0Not sure how many ice cream makers there are around here, but if you are in Yaounde and want salt for your ice cream maker, go to Landmark. \u00a0They have it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-report-this\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur?moderation_action=report_form&object_type=post&object_id=1668&width=250&height=300\" class=\"thickbox\" title=\"Report This Post\">Report This Post<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I couldn&#8217;t believe it. \u00a0Shopping in downtown Yaounde the other day, I found a bag of &#8220;Deicing Salt&#8221; on the shelf! \u00a0I know in places far north of here there is plenty of ice and snow and sleet and coldness. \u00a0But here? \u00a0We&#8217;re sweltering in the heat of dry season! \u00a0What on earth?!
