{"id":1295,"date":"2012-04-30T12:09:39","date_gmt":"2012-04-30T17:09:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?p=1295"},"modified":"2012-05-04T09:33:53","modified_gmt":"2012-05-04T14:33:53","slug":"colleagues-friends-fellowship-and-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/ziegelbaur\/?p=1295","title":{"rendered":"Colleagues, Friends, Fellowship and Fun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this month we had the pleasure of hosting two special women.\u00a0Lana Heinrich, who coordinates short term missions for the Covenant, and Letha Kerl, who serves with her husband as Regional Coordinators for Covenant missionaries in Europe and Africa.\u00a0The purpose of the trip was for Lana to see current and potential ministries for short term missionaries to do here in Cameroon. <\/p>\n<p>She visited Rain Forest International School for part of a day, seeing classes, having lunch, observing Covenant missionaries in action.\u00a0She saw the new hostel construction next door to RFIS.\u00a0And she observed Covenant short term missionary Heidi Boeckel teaching preschool children of missionaries, and helping with a Bible club at an orphanage for Cameroonian children. She also took the 7 hour trip to Bamenda where she was able to see the many community development activities Covenant short term missionary\u00a0Sharon Davis is involved in. <\/p>\n<p>While they were here, friends from Reach Global (Free Church mission) came through Yaounde on their way to a conference in Kenya.
