A vital role of church leadership is to clearly define reality. One of these realities for PSWC churches is the profound role issues of multiethnicity and multiculturalism play in our setting where dramatic demographic shifts are occurring. The PSWC offers several avenues to address these challenges through immersion experiences for veteran leaders as well as emerging ones. These experiences urge us into the new reality that is unfolding from the powerful work of the gospel among us.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\"><b><span style=\"color: #990000;font-size: medium\">Journey to Mosaic (J2M)<\/span><\/b>: A four day experiential bus trip from Northern California to Southern California that pairs people up with somebody of a different ethnic background. It unpacks portions of the African-American, Asian-American, and Hispanic-American stories in California through tours, films, and partner\/large group discussions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">Currently, J2M as a four-day experience is on hold. See one day trips below.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\"><span style=\"color: #990000\"><b><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Upcoming 2013 Journey to Mosaic trips are:<\/span><\/b><\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">During 2013, there will be two <b>Local Mosaic Trips<\/b>, one focused in Oakland and another focused in Los Angeles. Each experience is designed for local churches to explore their context and determine how God is leading them to develop ministries of Compassion, Mercy and Justice in their own area.
