Bio<\/span><\/h3>\n

Spiritual journey:<\/strong>\u00a0I grew up in a Christian home and accepted Christ into my life at young age. \u00a0As a teenager I began to wrestle with questions of identity and purpose wondering how Jesus Christ was going to impact my future. \u00a0While on a short-term mission trip with my youth group, I heard God’s call to ministry. \u00a0I wanted to help other teens know and follow Jesus Christ. \u00a0I am constantly growing and learning through trial and error about what it means to be on this adventure. \u00a0I am learning to hear God’s voice more and more every day.\u00a0 I want to love Him more and love others better.<\/p>\n

Call to ministry:<\/strong>\u00a0My call to ministry came while I was on a short-term mission experience with a Covenant youth group I was attending in high school. \u00a0I was excited that I could help meet the physical and spiritual needs of others. \u00a0My faith in God deepened as I experienced more of His presence. \u00a0I knew I wanted to live a life that counted for eternity and responded to God’s call by studying Youth Ministry in College and serving Him in the context of the local church.<\/p>\n

I am passionate about:<\/strong>\u00a0Communicating God’s word in a fresh and engaging manner. \u00a0I long to see people transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. \u00a0I love my wife of 22 years and my four children. \u00a0I love music, reading and watching movies. \u00a0I am also passionate about global and local missions where the love of God is shared in word and in deed. \u00a0I love visiting other cultures and countries.<\/p>\n

How long have you been involved in ministry?<\/strong>\u00a0I worked in youth and music ministry part time during college from 1988 to 1992. \u00a0I have served as a full time in youth pastor in four churches from 1992 to present.<\/p>\n

What do you think is important that we know about you, as a member of the Speaker Team? <\/strong>I have had the privilege of speaking at youth summer camps, winter camps, family camps, chapel services, seminars, and mission experiences. \u00a0I’ve also had\u00a0the\u00a0privilege of preaching in a variety of churches in various locations and contexts. \u00a0I desire to use my gifts to encourage and challenge people to follow Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to transform them. \u00a0I also am passionate about sharing God’s love with those who aren’t yet followers of Christ. \u00a0I believe that God’s love is the most powerful force in the universe and that His love wins. \u00a0I love nothing more than the opportunity to communicate that love with passion in an atmosphere of grace and freedom in Christ.<\/p>\n
