Bio

Spiritual journey: I grew up in a Baptist church and met Christ as a child. My faith was deepened through youth group and summer camp, as well as lots of conversations with godly mentors.

Call to ministry: My youth pastor took me to Dairy Queen as a junior in high school and suggested I consider youth ministry as a vocation. I said “thanks but no thanks, I’m going to get a real job.” It wasn’t until after college that I realized that ministry to young people and their and families was a good fit.

I am passionate about: Helping young people navigate adolescence, encouraging youth workers and parents, and grace-filled living.

How long have you been involved in ministry? I have been in ministry since 1999. 7 years as Pastor to Youth and Families at Roseville Covenant Church, Roseville, MN; 4 years as Director of Training at Youth Leadership, St. Paul, MN

What do you think is important that we know about you, as a member of the Speaker Team? I’m blessed to be married to Nate for 10 years. We have two kids, Ben and Greta. We’re living the dream in St. Paul, where I’m enjoying the journey, while continuing to search for that elusive thing called balance.
