North Park Theological Seminary invite you to join us for an upcoming lecture as well as highlight a few cohort programs scheduled to begin shortly at the Seminary.

David Nyvall Lectures

Fr. Virgilio P. Elizondo will deliver the annual David Nyvall Lectures on Thursday, April 10. A Roman Catholic priest and professor of pastoral and Hispanic theology at the University of Notre Dame, Fr. Elizondo is considered a leader in Latino religious thought and will explore themes of immigration, justice, and culture.

This lecture will take place from 9:00 AM until noon in Isaacson Chapel and is free and open to the public. If you’re unable to attend, we invite you to watch the live webcast.

Urban Ministry Programs

This summer, new cohorts will begin meeting in pursuit of either a certificate in urban ministry or a doctor of ministry in urban ministry leadership. Both programs give you the chance to study under Dr. Soong-Chan Rah and follow a hybrid curriculum model: You will take classes online from wherever you live in addition to completing coursework in person through one-week intensives.

Certificate in Youth Ministry

We are excited to announce the return of our certificate in youth ministry. The 15-credit, cohort model program is offered in partnership with the Center for Youth Ministry Studies, and it will be an excellent resource for youth leaders and pastors seeking to expand and develop their ministry skill set. More information will be available shortly at www.northpark.edu/seminary.

For more information about any of these opportunities, please contact Amy Oxendale via email or by calling (773) 244-4984.
