Youth Worker Connection Time + God + People = Connection
Engage in theological dialogue, TED talks, fitness options, spiritual connections, community groups, roundtable discussions, peer learning, just a few of the highlights for Youth Worker Connection 2014.
Andrew Root will lead our theological dialogue. The Olson Baalson Associate Professor of Youth and Family Ministry at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Root writes and researches in areas of theology and youth ministry. He will share insights from his most recent book, The Relational Pastor.
We invite you to extend your YWC experience by staying for our Monday evening opening dinner with Comedy Sportz followed by regional conference gatherings. You will then also have an opportunity to attend our Midwinter Connections Day on Tuesday, January 28. Join in roundtables or affinity groups, hear the mission and ministry overview, and attend a ministry breakout session. Get connected to the entire ministerium, hear the dreams and visions for the future, and interact with colleagues in ministry. Or, register and stay for Midwinter 2014, which will include a youth ministry track. Chap Clark will share about the research and resources in relationship to Sticky Faith and the new young adult initiatives. Covenant youth workers will share ministry insights in a TED talk format.
