Hello Lisa,

I like the layout of your blog--especially the title. Surely it will be a good way to connect to people on evangelism.

You are absolutely right about our tendency to over-complicate evangelism. I still remember Lon Allison's point: prayer, care, share--in that order!

I've blogged before on business topics and hope to pick up now about economic development from a Christian perspective. I'll send you some materials I've collected on blogging. I found them helpful.

Congratulations Lisa! Although we have never met, I am excited for you and your new role and the future of evangelism in the Covenant:)
I am fortunate to head our missions , friendship and evangelism at our church here at Cape Cod Covenant in Massachusetts... and I am currently seeking a way to help those at church become better at communicating Jesus love for those who do not know Him. I am very INTERESTED in the roundtable discussion on Sept 15th and wish I could be there. I also know a woman who I think is the best evangelist I have ever been around. Her name is Karen Low and she and her husband spent 16 years in New Guinea with the cannibals and brought thousands to our Lord and Savior. It is amazing to watch her in action as she is so unobtrusive and effective at spreading Gods love to others. She currently lives here in Massachusetts and I will see her in Boston at a grass roots Evangelism meeting~
And so, much luck to you in your new role and I hope to stay in touch with you and appreciate all and any guidance that you and your staff can provide.

In Christs amazing love,
Doreen Espeseth
