We praise God for the 75 kids (ages 4-12) who participated in the Family Foundation’s (FUNDEFAM’s) 4th annual VBS! This year’s theme was “Aventura en la Gran Ciudad” (Adventure in the Big City) and the main verse for the week was from Romans 10:17, “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ”.
The whole Foundation building was decorated with skyscrapers, taxicabs, street signs, city scenes and the highlight for the kids was the airplane in the missions section that allowed them to “travel” to different places around the world like India, France and Africa to learn how God is at work everywhere. During the month of June, it was my privilege to lead a weekly Bible study for thirty-five women at the Cuautitlán Izcalli Covenant Church. Theme: Transformed by the Word
Weekly topics: praying Scripture, Scripture in everyday life, Psalms, and the questions of Jesus. Each study included time for both group and personal reflection.
A highlight for the women was their group’s dramatic representation of one of the five Psalms we had studied. They used whatever props were at hand in the meeting room. The group in the photo below acted out Psalm 91 (“Whoever goes to the Lord for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty can say to him, ‘You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.’. . .”). Continue Reading »

Since 1967, Covenant Camps and Covenant World Mission have partnered together. Lives are being transformed all around the world, because of the generosity of camp participants. Throughout the years, campers have given offerings in support of National Church partners engaged in ministries unique to their settings, reaching people of all ages with the love of Jesus Christ.
