INDIA: CARING FOR THE CHILDREN

India: Caring for the childrenThere are many children in India known as rag pickers who spend their days picking through dumps looking for trash that they can sell for a small amount of money.  These children come from poor families who cannot afford to send them to school.  They have little to eat, only the clothes on their backs, suffer from ill health, and have no chance of escaping their current environment without an education.  Once again, children in Covenant Churches across North America can help.

This year’s Children’s Service Project, “Caring for the Children” will enable children in North America to help the children of India.  The money they give will care for children in India by providing them with food, clothing, and an education.
