Maybe you want to weigh in on the merits (or demerits) of said-song.<\/p>\n<p>First the info: <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/WebObjects\/MZStore.woa\/wa\/viewAlbum?i=185893768&amp;id=185893063&amp;s=143441\">Mighty to Save<\/a> was written by Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan. 2006, Hillsong Publishing. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.songselect.com\/Default.aspx\">CCLI Song #:\u00a04591782<\/a>. You can watch the Hillsong video in this <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/wc\/?p=931\">earlier post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I notice:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I like the juxtaposition of personal faith\/experience and &#8220;Hope of Nations.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Verse two nicely acknowledges how the mercy of God prompts us to follow Jesus and give our lives in response to his goodness.<\/li>\n<li>This song locates hope in the power of the resurrection. Rare.<\/li>\n<li>The bridge takes the discipleship theme to the highest possible level, as it invokes Jesus&#8217; <em>light of the world metaphor.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>This is a big song.
